Kurdistan Democratic Party Delegation led by Mr. Ali Awni on the official section VIII of the party visited headquarters of Sema Foundation in Dubai, and at the forefront of receivers was Hajj Aref Ramadan spokesman for Sema institution. They talked about the situation of the Kurdish community in Dubai, as well as the role of the Sema foundation in raising the issue of Kurdish cultural and artistic in this State and the preservation of the heritage and customs of the Kurdish people there.
Professor Ali Awni in the midst of his speech said (Sema foundation is a mini Kurdistan in the middle of Dubai). This delegation has toured at the headquarters of the institution as well as to familiarize themselves with the Library Foundation, which includes hundreds of books Arabic, Kurdish and English, which is the main reference on the Kurds and Kurdistan in Dubai, As opened Sema Foundation′s site for Culture and Art www.semakurd.net. in its four languages Kurdish Latin , Sorany, Arabic and English, which contains all the news of cultural and artistic scene in Kurdistan, were they show there impressed and delightfulness for this progress in the institution.
At the end of the visit commended Mr. Ali Awni on the efforts and tender Hajj Aref, the institution in the area of cultural, artistic and wished them further progress and prosperity under this enthusiasm and drive in the enterprise.
Alhaji Arif Ramadan also thanked this visit, and wished them greater strength and victories under the shade of Kurdistan region government.
