At the beginning I am giving sincere greetings to the foundation (Sema), and wished them success for their cultural and artistic work for the benefit of distinct Kurdish nationalism,

Shaykhan district located to the north of the city of Mosul at a distance of 45 km and is one of the old districts in Iraq, Since 1924, it has become judiciary of Shaykhan the people who inhabit this judiciary today mixture can be equated with that mini-Iraq and the population according to1997 statistics, approximately 12 thousand people, most of whom are about70%of Yezdi and dwelling with each of the Kurdish Muslims and Christians, in fact, they live as a family without any problems, but Everybody as if family or one family, Most of the people in this district worked in agriculture, animal husbandry and service jobs in the district are available from the Kaem Magamih, the district and city conditions, the Directorate of Post and the police and schools.
Designation came from (welaty Shekha) means (the home of sheikhs), and believes that the tide, which happened to the days of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) was from the springs, which are located to the north of the Plateau Sheikhan we have said in terms of Alaezideh population constitute about 70% of the total population of Sheikhan and laid of the various segments of Yezdi themselves from the clans and tribes, as well as case proportions to the Muslims, Christians and all practiced their religious rituals freely, but we find many occasions especially at weddings and funerals they all involved as if it belong to all of them, If it occurs, God forbid, any problem everyone pull together to fix and termination in a manner that satisfies everyone. Its history is empty of any problems of this kind thank to God.

With regard to Yezdian religion, in fact there are a lot of researchers and historians wrote about Yezdi. But all those involved in sentencing the Alaezideh outside, whether intentionally or not, some have making mistakes against Yezdi in many respects. But when we come to most of those who addressed this research they designation this name, some said they Izideh proportion to the Yazed Ben Maaouya or Ezdan. But in fact when we come to examine the Yezdi from within, we can affirm that the name does not refer to such references or sources, but Yezdi name coming from their God, from Holy God, because Yezdi religion is an ancient religion, when Alizidi asked what is his religion, he says I Aizidi but the translation in Arabic Izidi says that because there is a significant difference between the Aizidi and Ezedi. In Yezdian religion theory there are many words which confirm what we are saying, the King says:

(Means) Divine name called over one thousand name and the greater name was (Khuda) that means the Creator, the creator himself, when asked Alizidi who do you worshipping: Izidi says I am worshiping who created me. If we come to the roots of Yezdian religion feel that it’s an ancient religion, dating back to the beginnings of religion when it appeared in Sumerian and the developments that took place on human intellect, whether in the religious or the political, economic, social and cultural development. The progress that has occurred throughout history, Human also achieved progress in the religious aspect and we want to prove that there is a close relationship between these ancient religions Sumerian religion, Yezdian religion. What exists today in religious ceremonies and rites, but many aspects of Yezdian religion consistent with similar Sumerian religion, then Babylonian, Assyrian and spread throughout the region, Just as the Sumerian believe that the sky, a land , a women and a beauty has gods the Yezdi believe so but consider the difference as the development of intellectual, cultural that happened to human during these periods of time, to this day.

We say that Yezdian religion is the first unifying since the day of Ibrahim Al-Khalil peace be upon him and to this day, and that Yezdian religion is unite Holy God, deeming it is the only God in which the human paved by. No other worships and Yezdi believes the seven angels who created by God's Holy. Yezdian religion like any religion is consistent with the similar in some respects with other religions and different in others. So wherein all religions are praying and fasting, Zakat and when there is similarity between Yezdian religion and certain religions does not mean that subsidiarity from that religion.

So we say that Yezdi is unifying religion and independently with all decrees, some say Yezdi Zaradstein. We do not say that we also disagree on the remarkable in many aspects, the Zeradsteh had two gods god of good Ahermzda and god of evil Aherimn, while Yezdian worshiped one God and its God's Holy the creator of universe and itself.
The second difference the Yezdian religion is before Zoroastrianism three or four thousand years, if we agree with the Zeradsteh in making fire at the temples and shrines, most religions share with us in this. If we were with the sun, they worshiped sun and Yezdi don’t worship the sun, but they blessed it, early in the morning when the Yezdi go to pray turns to the sun as the sacred phenomenon and without the sun it life would not have arisen on the universe and also at down they go to the sun to pray, otherwise it will go to Lalsh the major temple of Yezdi, when we say Lalsh, It is true that many claimed that Lalsh become temples of Yezdi after the advent of Sheikh Khaddoli the man of dignity peace be upon him and all the reformers and prophets and guardians Yes since his coming it became a shrine and temples after his death but Yezdi believes that Lalsh old as nature.
